Why tasks get lost in Telegram groups
Most small teams already plan their work in a Telegram group. Someone asks, someone says “I’ll do it”, and a day later the promise is buried under a hundred newer messages. The usual fixes all need a person to keep them current: pinned messages, Saved Messages, a spreadsheet, or a board in another app. Within a few weeks nobody updates them, and the lead goes back to asking “any update?”.
How TXM works
- Add the bot to your group. One tap opens Telegram’s group picker. TXM needs to see the group’s messages, so it asks to be an admin.
- Keep talking the way you do. Every 30 minutes, when there are new messages, TXM reads them and updates the group’s task list.
- Look when you want to. Type
/tasksor/mytasks, or open the board inside Telegram.
TXM picks up what people actually say:
- requests and promises (“can you send the report by Thursday?”, “I’ll fix it today”) become tasks with an owner, a requester and a due date;
- “on it”, “done”, “deployed ✅” and “sent it” move tasks along or close them;
- “waiting on the SSL certificate” marks a task as blocked and links it to the task it waits for;
- “it broke again” reopens a task that was closed;
- replies, quotes and screenshots are read in context, so a short “ok” lands on the right task.

It never misses a single message
TXM reads every message, reply and screenshot in the group, so work agreed in passing still reaches the list. It never posts in your group on its own: it answers the commands above, and its replies delete themselves after 30 minutes. Only members of a group can see that group’s tasks. If you close or reopen a task on the board, TXM keeps your decision.
Works the way your team writes
TXM works in 50+ languages, including Amharic in its own script or typed in Latin letters, and messages that mix two languages in one sentence.
Who uses a Telegram task manager
TXM is made for teams of 3 to 30 people who agree on work in a Telegram group: software and product teams, agencies working with clients, startups, NGOs and field teams, operations teams, and crypto and remote teams.
Questions
Is TXM free?
Most features are free. Paid plans will be priced per group, never per person.
Do we have to use commands to create tasks?
No. TXM creates and updates tasks from normal conversation. The commands only show you what it has captured.
Why does TXM need to be an admin?
Telegram only shows a bot every message in a group when the bot is an admin or its privacy mode is off. TXM uses that access to read the group.
Which languages does it understand?
More than 50, including Amharic, and messages that mix languages.
Who can see the tasks?
Only members of the group. The board checks membership every time it opens.
